Mo’s Bundt Cakes is a passion-driven business that was born out of the love for baking and the desire to share mouthwatering cakes with the world. Our founder, Mariolga Calderon, embarked on this journey after leaving her corporate job as the VP of Marketing just before the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. Inspired by her grandmother’s cherished recipes and encouraged by her daughter and co-workers, Mo (that's Mariolga, but let's keep it cool), as her friends lovingly call her, discovered the magic of her famous cinnamon bundt cake.
Whether it was for her daughter’s school events, family gatherings, or office meetings, people couldn’t resist the temptation of taking a bite. The overwhelming response and enthusiastic feedback confirmed that there was something truly special about her
recipe.
During the challenging times of the pandemic, Mo found solace and inspiration in her kitchen. That’s when she decided to explore the concept of Mo’s Bundt Cakes and utilized her marketing background to bring her vision to life.
Driven by a desire to infuse a sense of nostalgia into modern life, Mo set out to make bundt cakes cool again. With a keen eye for branding and a knack for conceptual innovation, she breathed new life into this beloved dessert, transforming it into a symbol
of warmth and indulgence. With creativity and dedication, she began sharing our story on social media platforms. Within just four months of launching the website, our delicious cakes caught the attention of Edible Arrangements. Impressed by our unique flavors and quality, they approached Mo for a partnership in a new program. This collaboration opened the doors to shipping our delectable bundt cakes nationwide giving our brand exposure to a wider audience.
